Prepare to become a Medical Laboratory Technician and make a difference in the healthcare field by analyzing body fluids to provide physicians with results that will help diagnose and treat patients in need.
The MHPC MLT Program is accredited by the National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Science (NAACLS). Following successful completion of on-line coursework, labs, clinical rotations and passing the national certification examination through the American Society of Clinical Pathologists Board of Certification (ASCP-BOC), individuals will become a Medical Laboratory Technician.

The MHPC MLT Program is a Full-Time 12 Month hybrid program. The curriculum includes recorded on-line lectures, in-person instructional labs at Moberly Area Community College, Mexico campus, in the Fall (3 consecutive days) and Spring (4 consecutive days), and off-campus clinical practicum rotation encompassing the areas of Hematology and Coagulation, Clinical Microbiology, Parasitology, Mycology and Virology, Immunohematology (blood bank), Clinical Chemistry and Urinalysis, Immunology and Phlebotomy.
