MHPC OTA Program Student Occupational Therapy Association (SOTA)

The MHPC Occupational Therapy Assistant Program Student Occupational Therapy Association (SOTA) is an organization designed to encourage professional development for students currently accepted and enrolled in the MHPC OTA program. Activities of SOTA include increasing awareness of occupational therapy in the community, networking, fundraising, and finding guest speakers to increase the student’s knowledge of current issues in health care and administration. SOTA also serves as a social bridge between each class of occupational therapy students.\

Membership is required for each student accepted into the MHPC OTA program. Students are required to pay $10 annually.

Eligibility Requirements

Membership is only available to those accepted into the MHPC Occupational Therapy Assistant program.

SOTA promote the objectives of the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) and Missouri Occupational Therapy Association (MOTA).

S.O.T.A. meeting time will be determined soon.
